Default those who solved the throttle lift stumble PLEASE READ!

I know you're out there: there are a ton of posts in the archives describing the problem, but no solutions are posted (only hypotheses).

This is the issue where you get into boost and slightly lift the throttle, car stumbles or bucks like a misfire.

My car is APR stage 3, suddenly developed this problem with the cold weather. Set a random misfire code once, but since then, no codes. I found posts from people who were chipped (several brands) with the problem, people with K04s with the problem, even some TT's and S4's seem to have experienced this issue.

Watching knock reg, it isn't dumping the timing. Misfire counters occasionally show up to 4 misfires, but not always. ECT functioning well. Barometric sensor functioning. BPV is fairly new N valve and functions great.

I get spikes up to 25psi, so I find it hard to believe that I've got a leak. Especially since it went away for the most part when it got warm out here again.

argh. tia

Did you tighten your throttle cable, and do a TB realignment yet?

Default did a realign...but question for you...

I am already at the "tightest" clip spot on the cable and there is still some slack...

Did you have this when you did yours?

It looks like my only option is to pop that little ball and nut out of the housing and address it there. I can't find a procedure for doing it tho'.

Default you get this too?

does weather affect yours? if it's hot out (65 and higher) it rarely happens, but if it is cold, it does it consistently.

very annoying...
