Default Timing Belt at 105,000 miles.....

I just asked my dealer what mileage I should get the timing belt changed because my manual doesn't really say, so he gave ame a copy of a chart (1999 Maintanence Schedule) for A4 1.8t and it says to do this at 105,000 miles. Does anyone else differ on this, or had any trouble with the timing belt breaking? That seems high, but I'd guess one would have recourse w/ Audi if it did break before this? Thanks.

Whatever you do, get it done on a timely basis; timing belt break expensive on interference engine!

But most of those have been the old tensioner design failing, AFAIK.
