The "Tint Man" in Monroe has done 4+ cars that I know of and they all came out great. He has given me a substantial discount on retinting windows that have been smashed on my car.
Hmmm let me think... (not on an A4

About 5 years ago:
5% rear three windows
20% doors (2DR) and sunstrip on front
Came out of movies @ 10PM. Car parked within 200' of College's Public Safety, yet...
Fist size hole in back right window. Tint kept window together, Nothing stolen, including $3000 in CD's on back seat. New window at junk yard, temporairy tinted with static tint
Year or so later:
Oct 30: Drivers window smashed, rear window smashed, stereo equipt. stolen. Vacumed up car, drove 2 hrs home, had windows fixed next day. Went back to Tint Man. He retinted rear window, drivers door, and the right rear which I temporairly tinted. I also pointed out that the back left had a small problem and he retinted that one as well. At this point I removed all stereo equipt left and still have it in boxes waiting for my A4.
Year or so later:
between 10AM-1PM, another fist size hole. This time in drivers door, just above lock (they readhed in and unlocked) to their dismay, no stereo equipt and thus nothing stolen.
At this point, I had window replaced and just decided to removed tint off passenger door to match.
What all of that means (and I just realized) is that of the windows originally tinted:
3 of 6 have been broken (into)
1 of 6 has original tint (but it's the front sunstrip - doesn't really count)
4 of 6 are tinted now (all by Tint Man - great job and custormer sat./serv)
Originally (~5 years ago) I paid ~$125, and when he retinted the back 3 and drivers door, he only charged me $50. Also, at that time, I got a quote for a 4DR Golf III - $140
And now that car sits in my garage while I wait for my '00 A4 1.8T. I am currently driving my father's '95 Probe SE, with no major problems (sunroof recently needed overhaul)
Mark P
