Default Tires, tires, tires...... S-03 or SP9000 ?
Right now, the S-03 is only $15 more than SP9000 (in size 225/45/17).

From what I've heard, the advantages of SP9000 are:

* longer tread life
* more comfortable ride
* quieter


Advantages of S-03:

* the best dry and wet grip money can buy


Anyone have experience with the two? Which one would you recommend? It will be a street tire for me, but I love going fast on ramps and twisties. However, I don't want too much tire noise either.

Default sure SP9K's are quieter but don't forget that S03's will get you...

So3 is one of the heaviest tires on the market, the SP9000's are very light...id go SP9K

SP9000 is 23.6 lbs in this size. How about S-03 ?
