this coming weekend I'll be picking up a complete transmission. Just another 2.8Q gearbox nothing special 55K miles on it, hope it fixes my problems. I'll have to talk with management at work about how the **** I'm going to go about changing a gearbox after hours, since I'm not fond of paying to have this done... especially since I just did the clutch like 4K ago and paid $300 for that labor.

I honestly dont think I'm going to drive this car for another 2 weeks, possibly 3 weeks.

Old gearbox is going to get taken apart and the malfunctioning parts will be located and replaced in a learning experiment for the guys who will be doing the work of swapping the gearbox.

In other news I paid for my S4 rear seat... lets see if the seller comes through and ships it. If so I'll have all black seating surfaces shortly... too bad the car cant be driven because the gearbox is making scraping sounds that get louder and louder the faster the car goes.

B5 A4q= 3.89

Basically to do that swap I'd need a rear differential and possibly a set of 4 axles too. While I'd love a 6spd gearbox I dont have the $$$ to make that happen... and right now I just want my car back on the road.
