Are transmission mounts different than engine mounts?
 

I just had my two engine mounts replaced under warranty.

Are transmission mounts different? If they are different, how easily is it to check on these mounts and see if they need to be replaced?

Yes, different mounts. You'd need to crawl under and examine the tranny mounts.
