Trip computer averages - how long (distance / time)
I know the trip computer doesn't average over the life of the car - what distance or time is used to calc those averages?
Last 300 miles? Last 90 minutes of driving? Last 30 days of driving?

Wait, so you guys are saying that if you never touch anything
i.e. disconnect the battery, reset them, anything, it is over the LIFE of the car? So conceivably, after 70000 miles you'd have an average figured on 70000 miles, not just the last 300 or so?

I've never reset mine since new
Average mileage (22.6) and speed (28) should be accurate since I got it (44.9k miles ago). I've never reset the battery, and I don't THINK the dealer has either.
