trunk key operation question/problem...

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/74287/key.jpg"></center><p>recently my can was almost broken in by some car theives, so they left me with a hole in the driver's door panel and a messed up lock (fixed the hole with some duct tape and touch up paint for now). I'm going to replace the driver's door handle with a rear door handle(same side), and use trunk key hole for emergencies.
My only problem is that my trunk key lock does no operate correctly, it locks all the door with a half turn to the right, locks the trunk permanently with a full turn to the right, unlocks the trunk with a turn to the left, but DOES NOT unlock the doors with a double turn to the left. My locking system functions properly with a remote (one click unlocks driver's door, double unlocks everything else). Please help me out with this guys. Any suggestions will be helpful.

The trunk key will not unlock the doors from the trunk lock because it is service/valet key. It will also not work in your glove compartment lock and the locks on the folding rear seats.

So you really can't use it in emergencies since you have no way to fold the seat from the trunk in order to climb in and unlock the doors.
