Trying to start my A4
its a 2.8 tipper. It almost starts so close but just wouldnt. When I turn the key to the ON position, car is not running, all the lights come on everything looks normal. The voltage is at 12 at this point. I try to start it and it cranks up and is so close, while trying to start the battery light flashes, when I go back to the ON position after trying to start it, only the battery light is on. Is this a dead battery? I tried jumping it from my S4 and it still wouldnt start but is even closer. If the volts are at 12 with the key in the ON position, car is not started, is the battery ok and its something else?
New battery this summer its a Die Hard International worked perfectly fine. The car sat for 2-3 days, it has been cold, below freezing at night, low 40s high, but the car is in the garage. Ideas, something else to try, dont have access to a vag right now. Thanks.

I still don't know, is it turning over or not?
If it is chances are it's flooded. Pull and clean all the plugs, then try again.
If it's not then it's either your battery, your starter, your ignition switch or something else electrical
