okay i want an upgrade. where can i find an inexpensive k04. i was told that ebay turbo often blow up. but the price are looking better then some other sites.

If you haven't tried a search, use the advance search feature and enter "k04 turbo" in the key word field and then select on the r-h side the forum you want to search. I selected A4. Hit Search Now and you will end up with a lot of different threads.

Took the time to put in the above just in case you haven't used the advance search feature before.

iv got 40k on my ebay ko4 16psi no problems

I'm happy with my ebay K04... can't see any quality difference from the real thing...

how much did you pay for you turbo. and did you get a kit

i was wanting to pay from 300 to 500 at most

i don't believe thats true. They probably blow when some idiot keeps it way too high on boost, and also remember about the tune as well. Sometimes it the tuners fault.

do you pefer any type or any site. i have a few mods and a flashed ecu

just look at the turbo on ebay and compare at other websites. If i was going to buy a ko4 then i would take a good look and probably end up ordering it on ebay, but i would just buy turbo. and next you gotta get some software as well, be smart.
