Default Turbo XS BPV/BOV Group Buy

The price will be $125. For details check out the link. The buy is through ATP (www.vwturbo.com) The valve can be run in recirculatory mode or atmospheric release mode and is a much stronger valve than the new supposedly unbreakable () TT valve (handles up the 35 psi). For those of you with drive-by-wire, the general consensus seems to be that if you disconnect your MAF you can run a BOV with no problem, I don't know how much that is discussed here, but its generally agreed upon at VWVortex (if that means anything ). If you check out the VWVortex 1.8t forum, you can see that. There's a fellow called 1.BillyT who has a Golf with a T3 60-trim custom setup. He just got a new FMIC and ATP's new exhaust manifold and I think he's at 270 hp AT THE WHEELS. He's been running a BOV with no problem for at least 6 months now. He just disconnected his MAF so the car reverts to the MAP (Mass air pressure) sensor. The MAP accounts for the air released to the atmosphere. This applies only to dbw cars, I think cable throttle cars can run a BOV no problem (at least according to TurboXS). If you have any questions or are interested, just email me. THanks.

VWVortex TurboXS BOV thread

Default The valve can be run as a recirculatory valve...

So how would that mess anything up? It a lot stronger than any Bosch valve.

you're not likely to get very many nice responces here... esp when selling a part whose sole purpose is to be less efficient than stock, yet, make a cool woosh noise -

But its not any less efficient than stock! Maybe I'm having difficulty because I'm an Audiworld virgin. Anyways, the valve is made to be plumbed back to the intake. Therefore its just like a forge, bailey, or bosch valve, except that it operates by a different method and it *CAN* be run in BOV mode if you are the riske` type.

There are many people, maybe not you, who don't trust Bosch valves and spend $150-$160 on heavy duty recirculating bypass valves like the Forge, Bailey, and TurboXS (aka PES's bpv) valves. Now those people can save some money.
