upgrading lighting

is upgrading my 96 A4's headlights to a 2000 as easy as remove and replace?
Will the housings work?

you can plug and play but...

that would be the 2 piece projectors which don't look nearly as good as the 1 piece projector ecodes. The 1 piece require a small amount of fender trimming (trimming behind the lights so they fit) but they look sooo much better...

they are the one piece that I am going to replace them with. Just wondering if the wiring has to be changed. I know about the fender trimming. Anything else?

find my post about wiring harness below...

i didn't want to wait for the harness when i did the us-spec projectors so i got creative and took out the circular harness from the 2pc lights and adapted them to the 1pc.
