Using 108mm flanges in rear diff

Using 108mm flanges in rear diff
Due to rear diff change (torsen diff) I have to use 108mm flanges from the V8. Is it so that complete rear shafts from B5 S4 should fit directly to A4 with 108mm flanges i.e. the hubs are same? Can I change only the inner CV joint from S4 to A4 shaft and make it work?

I had been looking at the V8 torsen swap for a while. The flanges are not the same, and if you can match a 108mm OD disc style CV joint that will fit onto the A4 half axle I am not sure that ther was enough clearance around the larger CV joint.
