Vag-Com errors and other problems, nightmare
My audi 1.8 A4 is playing up, the oil warning light and beep comes on if i take it to around 3000rpm, let go of the gas and it goes off.
I ran VAG-COM and it gave the following errors:-

Can anyone help me with this? I will be forever in your debt...
Many Thanks
Matt
i bought the car with no keys, so i could tell, but i picked it up for £300 ($510)
I've noticed that there is 2 wires near the filter, 2 spade ends, i presume 1 of them goes to sensor above the filter, but cant figure out where the other one goes, 1 is white/blue other is white/grey with a white rubber sleeve, i have a haynes manual but its next to useless and i've been told the bentley manuals are no good for UK spec cars, finding a UK version is not going so well...
it maybe a case that the wrong connector is on the sender unit housed on the filter unit?
also i've got a grey 2 pin plug at the back just above the water temp sensor, (water temp sensor is connected ok), i cant seem to find where that goes, i was told by a ex mechanic that its diagnostics port, but obviously i've used the diag port inside near the back seat ashtray..there is no mention in my manual about this either...
i'm pulling my hair out with this, what hair i;ve hot left anyway..can anyone fill me in on the 2 spade connectors and grey plug.
engine type is ADR if that helps
thanks
2. Remove the valve cover and peek inside to get a feel for engine condition. If it's dirty then you'd need to flush it soon after you fix the oil light problem
3. Drop the oil pan (pain in the butt as you need to lift the engine or drop the cradle) to see if the oil pickup screen is clogged (as a result of improper maintenance or use of cheap oil). Maybe it's wise just to replace the oil pump anyway, while you're having the car on the hoist.
I don't think oil pressure sensor is your problem but then I'm not familiar with ADR engine: sounds like you have oil starvation problem at high revs.
4. If there's evidence of sludge/oil turds you might want to replace turbo lines as well (if applicable)
Stop driving and start fixing.
It has done just over 90,000 Miles (144,840km)
Its not the turbo model, just standard 1.8..
I'll try dropping the sump and checking out what you said but without a decent manual its like a pissing in the wind...why cant Bentley do a UK version??
thanks again, anymore advice feel free to leave it, i need as mush as i can...
