Default The genuine VAG tools are really expensive...

...something like $1500 or so. However, there are a few pieces of software out there for Windows machines that will allow you to access much of the OBD data just like the VAG tool. These software packages are $250-$400 or so. Sorry I don't have any names or URL's for you.

Default Hmmm, the windows tool looks like a good investment to me...

After all, an OBDII reader cost about this much. I'll investigate that since I already know 3 Audi's that could use this. Thanks Andy

Default Link inside (more)

The "Personal Version" or "Basic Level" sells for around $300. I do own the Personal Version and like it alot. The OBDII ISO models work on both Audi and BMW (I personally tested this).
