VDO buzzing - the ultimate solution
After reading this forum for almost a year I actually have a small tidbit to offer for once. As a victim of the dreaded VDO boost gauge buzz on my 2000tqm I went the fuel filter route only to realize that it was a partial fix, at higher boost the buzzing continued. In my desperate search for a larger volume fuel filter I stumbled on a very simple device.. a 3/16 to a 3/16 vacuum restrictor. This piece is a barbed plastic | (as opposed to a T) and cost me $1.50. It works perfect even after the fuel filter is taken off.
