Way OT, but I found a deal worth sharing...
MWZafar mentioned a few posts down that credit card companies don't give money away for free... I beg to differ.
About a year ago I got myself an American Express Blue credit card... mainly because it looks cool. Over the past few months, I have been liberally using one of the cards features: Price Matching.
Here's the details:
Best Value Guarantee
With the Best Value Guarantee, you'll pay the lowest price available on items purchased with the Card. If you see a covered item advertised in print for less than you paid within 60 days of the purchase date, we'll refund the difference to your account, up to $250 per item.*
*Best Value Guarantee assures the lowest price available on purchases made entirely with an eligible American Express® Card in the U.S. Refunds are limited to $1,000 annually per Card account. For more details or to file a request for a refund, call 1-800-557-8317.
Now, when they say "advertised in print", I've discovered that <u>F</u>ile... P<u>r</u>int... from your web browser is good enough for them. I buy stuff from places I trust, or are "Authorized Dealers", and then have Amex match the price that JoeBillyBobsElectronicsShack.Com is selling it for.
So, like I said, no Audi content, but I thought you guys would like to know.
