A couple of weeks ago I was driving and heard what sounded like a metallick snapping sound (like a guitar string breaking). I didn't notice anything after that and figured maybe I just ran over something in the road.

Now I am starting to get a groaning/creeking sound (sounds like a wooden ship in a movie).

I don't really note that it is specific to going over bumps, or anything like that. I hear it at low speeds on uneven pavement or if I'm taking my foot off the brake).

Any idea if these different sounds are related and what it could be. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks for the help.
