OK, I know this makes no sense but.....over a year ago I had a new head put on the car (under warranty)...soon after I would sometimes get a PO 1116 code (high temp. Gauge shows temp is normal. When this happens car will either crank for a long time before starting or will idle erratically, like something is wrong with the ECU.

After 3 months of this,I decide to replace the temerature sensor. I remove the old one, but do not have the correct replacement temp. sensor. I put it back, but did not seat it correctly...thus, antifreeze leaks out and the car overheats...I correct this situation, and the starting and idle issues never happen again.

This week, the same issues have returned.....I know the temp code and starting should not be related...but the above indicates otherwise...

Any ideas??????
