What is this?

I am holding the end of a wire that had been cut by the fan and followed it to the object pointed to in the picture. This is located to the left of the power steering fluid resevoir. Is this a sensor of some sort, and what would you suggest I do from here?

im pretty sure its a wiring connector, follow it further

Try lower rad hose, could be your temp sensor, mine got cut when the belt broke
