V5 to 2.8 V6...

Inline 10v 5-cyl. I think 130 or 140hp? My mother's '84 5000 had 110hp.

5 cylinders would not make a good V...It's an I-5

bugbbq is right. 172hp 2.8 V6 began in '92. Before that it was an 130hp I-5
 

You were probably riding in a 2.8 V6.
