Default Power Steering

Mine does it too. It could be several things, but I'm -guessing- it is power steering related. Meaning a) you need more fluid and/or b) your power steering pump has outlived its usefulness. The manual says that if you go too low on fluid, you have to bring the car in to have the power steering system checked out. Right. Take that as you choose.

I just checked mine at 52k, and i was completely out. I picked up 2 quarts at the local VW dealership for $9 a quart.
