Whoops! Someone goofed here...check it out....
I am perusing my Quattro Club Quarterly last night and come upon an ad for a CD changer for the 96 and 97 A4...apparently the Alpine one that has a direct link to the Delta head units. I post the information on the forum, and five people email me asking for the phone number....so I go home and attempt to get the number off the ad....Guess what? No flippin phone number! How do they expect you to order something from them without a phone number. Anyway, I called Karen Chadwick of the Quattro Club and left a message for her to see if she can round up a phone number for these folks. The price is right...only $350. I got mine about a year ago from Clair, for about $525...it has since gone down to $479 or so. If it is truly the same unit, not refurbished, I think it would be a good deal. The other thing they have advertised is Audi A4 Leather seats for only $1295/pair. They are manual...and not the sport ones...but what the heck... they might be worth it. The only weird thing in the picture is the headrests....that is not the stock headrest!....at least not in the US.
Anyway, attached is a jpeg file of the ad, if anyone is interested. BTW, the usual disclaimer...I am not affiliated with these folks in any way, shape, or form. I just read the advertisement in the Fall 98 edition of the Quattro Club Quarterly. I actually have never heard of these folks at all....and I only live about 30 miles north of them. Caveat Emptor.
Steve S.
97 2.8QM
