I had 225 tires on my previous A4 with the Audi 5 spoke 16" wheels, but I'm not sure if they will also work on the Swing wheels which I have now. OEM size for both types of wheels is 205-55-16.

are the stock tires 215 or maybe 205?

As far as I can tell, the stock tire size for this style is 205-55-16.

and you can up that to 225 without a problem?

That's what I was asking, so according to TEB there's no problem with it. I know it wasn't an issue on the old five spoke wheels that were on my previous A4. There's a pic of those wheels on the wrecked vehicle in my pic album. I went through a couple different sets of tires on that car and they were all 225 tread width.

oh okay cool. thanks. does anyone know what the maximum width is that would work on the stock 5 spokes?

I'm pretty sure 225 is the max. Maybe someone else can say for sure, but I wouldn't want to try any wider.

oh well it doesnt really mtter cause im doing rear spacers and getting wider wheels. thanks anyways though
