Window Problems... its wierd
Hey all
I have a 2001.5 A4 1.8t
Yesterday i rolled down my rear windows because it was hot and then rolled them back up. Right when the reached the top i hear a loud sound. Wondering what was going on i rolled them back down. When i roll them up they go about 1/3 the way up then stop. I push up again and then they go down slightly. I push up again and they go another 1/3 up then stop..... ect. I got one side to go all the way up and the other still is slightly cracked open but i cant get it to go up all the way. I called my dealer and they thought the window motor is broken but could not explain why its doing what its doing or why it happened to both windows at the exact same time. Also don't know if it has anything to do with it but the day before my rear speakers were giving off a weird electrical hum....
Let me know if anyone has any ideas....
