I have replace one on mine and two different ones for customers....
Mine's an early '99, one cust was an early '98 and one was a 97 12V.
ALL of them were near $25-35 IIRC..... CERTAINLY no where near $100.
Mine I replaced as the brown crud was *just starting* but the heater didn't work and I figured it was cheap enough to just replace it.

ok a comment: yes, i like my PPG glass... somewhat
I like the clarity of it
but i got a bad piece that wasnt cut that well and doesnt fit perfect at the top corners. but the shop also sucked and could have brought the glass up a lil more to make the fit better, but it wouldnt have been perfect. (they sucked for more reasons then that, but i'm not going to get into it)
so yes, good glass... but there ARE bad batches
