Default winter wheelization!

i got the winter rims on (16" swings w/ nokian wr's) finally, after the little ordeal before. yeah, i knew it was a noob question, and i was prepared for a noob bashing, so it doesn't bug me. i knew i had to turn the rotor, i just didn't understand how it got rotated and why i couldn't rotate it back by hand. i ended up having to drop the ebrake and turn it, but in all the times i've swapped wheels, i've never run into this problem and never had to drop the ebrake to do it. so yeah, i'll admit i was confused. oh well, a lesson learned.

Default Why the rotor turned ---->

The rotor didn't turn...as it was held by the ebrake, just like you said. Remember, when you pulled the bolts out, there is nothing securing the rotor to the hub. So, when you jacked up the wheel, the car probably shifted...rolled forward or backward a bit. Since the wheel on the other side was on the ground...the entire axle turned, including the hub on your side. So the holes in the hub moved, while the rotor remained fixed. Make sense?
