Without going overkill (audio question)

Ok - I think I have this '97 CD Changer issue solved, with a '99 head unit on order so I can than use an aftermarket CD. That being said, what do you guys suggest as a "simple" upgrade to the existing delta system? I don't want to go overboard, but would like to improve the "hollowness" of the rear's and the "tinness" of the front. Is it worth JUST changing out the speakers? If so, what do you guys suggest? It's been suggested that without upgrading the head unit and amp it's pretty much futile?

Any advice would be much apreciated!

you will have no problems replacing your speakers...

and getting better sound from newer speakers..

If the new head unit is a Symphony unit with the "hidden" eq, you can change the settings..
