Would an exhaust leak = Loss of boost?
As you guys may have read my car was rear ended last night and the exhaust took a bit of damage. I got the car on a lift today and it looks like a few hangers are snapped and also noticed that the front flex pipe looks torn cuz there is a big hole in it. Was never like this before. Would that hole cause my car to lose boost pressure?

I dont think so....
if the leak is after the turbo it shouldnt cause loss of boost because the exhaust pressure already did its job of spinning the turbine/compressor wheel. a leak in the manifold or hot side (exhaust housing/turbine housing) of the turbo BEFORE the wheel would prob cause a loss of boost. but not after.

I have a good size leak from my test pipe...
I think caused by a bad gasket and what might be a stripped bolt. Seems like there was a loss in power.. It might be do to the higher flow of the test pipe and turbulence made by leak? Im not to sure.. I really want to jack the car up and swap out the gasket and bolts however with 7 days of rain ahead and no garage Im damn well stuck.

Torn Flex Joint
I had one for an entire quarter.
Only change I noticed was a nicer exhaust note.
Unfortunatly it was not commong fromt he appropriate section of the car.
After the exhaust fell off at the flex joint it casue some problems.
Mostly alot of annoying rattles when I got things back together.
