I recently noticed a clicking type sound under my car when moving auto. trans from P to D or S. Also noticed sometime while at low speeds and then accelerating. Dealer is known to "rush" people out and they said, "could not duplicate noise". It is blatantly obvious. Has anyone else had this type of problem??

Also, when my car was in for 10K service, the dealer had to replace some sort of "transmission code box". I had been complaining about that for months and as I mentioned earlier, they had once before told me that the car is supposed to shift rough. Well now, in "S", it doesn't upshift at high RPM. I have to manually put it in "D" to get it to shift. HELP....

I only get that noise when I've parked on an incline. If you're getting it when parked on a level service, then you might have something wrong.

I'm also assuming that you're getting this noise before you start moving? You can get a noise when first movind that would be related to the ABS self test which is OK.

Can't help you with the shifting while in "S". I'm mosting driving in Tip mode myself.
