Default Is $12,995 a fair price '04 A4 Avant?

Is $12,995 a fair price for a well maintained '04 A4 Avant with sport package? 101K miles, recent timing belt and waterpump replacement. Thanks

That's a fair price for 3 of them.

My son, today, is selling his '02 1.8 Q sedan, 125k, which needs nothing. Bought from original owner, $1,000 sound system, not a door ding, bumpers and wheels perfect, 80% tires, beautiful grey, $6k in receipts last 18 mos to keep it perfect. He was happy to get $3,800 for it.

He's getting into a CPO '14 A4 Premium Plus (S Line trim etc), 27k miles, dealer in Greenwich CT, $23,700 + tax less $500 Audi promotional rebate.

I believe that for sure.. I have a 2002 3.slow with 214k.
She is not pristine, but well kept and drives like new.

There is definitely a point of diminishing returns on all used cars being sold..and the miracle of depreciation for used car buyers..
I'm so glad that I am handy..

It was interesting to watch the process. He listed it on CL on Saturday (5 days ago). He got 3 responses using the cashier check scam, a few low-ballers, several people trying to scrape together the money - those are the ones you feel sorry for - they don't have a clue what they're facing, and one bona fide buyer, who already has a Q7 and wants the car for her 17 year old.
