03 3.0L v6 sounds like diesel motor
Hey I have recently purchased a a4 3.0 v6 and I noticed it sounded like a diesel motor on idle. The old owner said he had it checked and it was the cam tensioner. Do you guys know a website I can order the part from that has a reasonable price? Thanx

There are no "cam tensioners" on the 3.0, so the old owner saying 'he had it checked' is sketchy. There are four hydraulic camshaft adjusters, and a timing belt tensioner, but none of those should make any noise. Before ordering parts, you need to figure out what the actual problem is, and not from the previous owner.
