I know this question has been asked before , but with the high cost of replacing a timing belt kit, which water pump should be used? which brand name to trust and where to purchase the water pump? Any techs want to chime in would be appreciated by a lot of DIY owners, me included.. I'm wanting to do the timing belt work very soon, but also want to make sure I replace the water pump with one that's going to last, to many horror stories of water pumps failing because of poor design or poor quality.. I'm sure there's members here that would like to hear from mechanics that know which brand to use.

I am not familiar with AudiUSA. I always go with ECSTuning and get genuine Audi parts. Be careful with anything that claims to be OEM. Some are not like Hamburg-Technic which claims to be OEM and I believe ECSTuning has pulled from their catalog. You do get what you pay for.
