Re: 2002 Audi A4 Avant Seat Clips
Are you talking about the lower two clips? If so, I don't have the part number on me, but they're about $45 from the dealer. They also don't come with instructions, but somebody on this forum did a write-up that I found after I did mine. The most difficult part is taking the seat back fully off. You have to pull the top three clips out without breaking them. It helps if you put your hand up in the seat and push as you pull. Nevertheless, I broke one of those on mine, and had to get a pair of vice grips to wrestle the clip out of the slot in the seat. Stupid design or manufacturing... I'm not sure which, but the clips are definitely too snug. :P

do i have to order thru dealer only???

They are not $45 from the dealer, I got mine at my dealer for $29.50
Install is absurdly easy. An excellent fix IMO, that seat back annoyed me for over a year before I realized there was a repair kit.

Hmmm... then don't go to Audi of Rockville! :P

What about the seat net? Does that come off easy?

My seat net is all stretched out. I want to take the plastic off and tighten it up. Sorry, I could not find any posts on it. |
