2004 6 Speed owners please post your RPMs at certain speeds
 

I am sure we would all like to know what rpms you are running at say 60, 70 and 80mph as compared to our 5 speeds.

70 - 2400-2500
80 - 2800-2900

man, I always search stuff before posting . . . nothing too concrete though.

70 - 2400-2500 . . . 80 - 2800-2900 OMG, that is very low compared to the 5 speed

Yes, and even my wife likes the way it shifts
 

It is quiet too

@100km/h -- 2600-2700rpm in 5th gear and 2100-2200rpm in 6th

Sure beats 3900 RPM at 80mph in my 5 speed

so overall the old 5spd has shorter gearing and should be a faster car around a track?

but top end the 6 speed has us beaten :-(
