2004 A4 1.8T Gas Milage
 

Hey there everyone,

I'm new on this, but I would like to know what kinda gas milage is everyone getting on their A4's. I just want to compare it with mine, to make sure that I dont think I'm having a problem.

my mileage is improving. i am now getting about 30 mpg, just passed 10K miles.

10.5-11.5 l/100 km in town (20.5-22.5mpg)
 

And I'm fairly light on the gas (they drive like grannies here). I can imagine it would easily be higher with rougher driving. The car has 29000 km on it.

I have 1500 miles now - mileage is improving with each tank. I too was alarmed at first - first tank yielded 250 miles. Last fill up was over 350. My '97 routinely got 400+. After in wears in a bit you'll get decent mileage. I expect a little drop because I have a tip.

Thanks for the help and quick responses. Yes, I'm from Canada, Toronto to be exact. I've had my car since November 03, and the most I have gotton in 379kms per tank...

just curious...since you mentioned KM
 

i am from montreal, canada, moved down south some time ago. your mileage will improve over time, you will see an increase after an oil change or two...usually after the 1st one though. driving in stop and go type traffic during canadian winters does not help.

Gas also matters...
 

I put in 94 octane. I get worse mileage with 91.
