Default I think I broke my key

I dropped it (hole in my pocket FML) and then stepped on it (work boots FML again). Somehow a small piece of plastic broke off, and the bottom portion of the key body is popped up and wont snap back together. It still turns the car on, but I can't remotely lock/unlock my doors anymore. How does one go about fixing something like this? Dealer?

Default You can get a new FOB online, but the dealer or your local authorized tuner with the proper...

equipment (which basically means only the dealer has it) needs to program it with the proper immobilizer code.

Default Buy a used key from eBay and transfer the key blade ...

and immobilizer chip to the new key; then program remote control functions using vag-com.
