Any way to change the 3 blinks to 6 blinks (turn signal)?

MikeS02A4 06-11-2004 08:55 PM

oh man, that would be great. 3 blinks is just not enough time, IMO.

What would be nice is if the car could figure out if you actually want them to flash

or if you hit them accidentally...which is embarassing.

I definitely wouldn't want 6 flashes!

perfect IMO. touch it right when you start to go over, and it finishes just before the lane change..

try asking in the vag-com section.

you're supposed to signal before you start changing.

ex-quattro PETE 06-12-2004 07:16 AM

ding ding!

Exactly! What's the point of signalling when you're starting the maneuver already. By that time I can already see you doing it. Too bad most people don't grasp the concept.

Projekt 8E 06-12-2004 08:20 AM

lol, you hav GOT to be kidding me. Posting drivers ed tips is as bad as grammar checking people.

because EVERYONE does something thats going to piss someone else off on the road. You might be one of those people that is always 5mph under the speed limit...or god knows what else. So until you are the perfect driver, preach to someone else. Obviously I grasp the concept of the feature Audi gave me.

then use the actual full change. if you're waiting to get over

..anyway you'll need more than 3-6 blinks. Otherwise, yeah you use it, let it blink those 3 times, THEN move over.

The blinks were made to signal an incoming change, not keep blinking once you're over. I.e. 3 is enough when you know you have the capacity to move at that time, otherwise you need to use the regular feature.

You spelled "have" incorrectly.
