Default Anyone know how to access that hidden option menu on the bose headunit??

I remember someone posted it a while back, and I did it, although, I didn't know what anything did so I didn't change anything. Does anyone know what the different options are and what they do?

Default Here's the trick

The first four radio memory buttons each perform a hidden function in the radio. With the radio off, push and hold button 1 while you power on the unit. IIRC, that option provides you relative signal strength from each of the four FM antennas in the window. The other buttons I believe adjust the SVC, Max-On Volume, and something else. Button 5 may have a hidden feature in it, don't really remember.

The second way you can access some of these features by simply holding down the menu button for five seconds, while the unit is on. You adjust the features and after 10 seconds, the display will return to normal.

Default SVC

forgot what the actual letters stand for...speed variable ... basically it'll adjust the volume based on the noise in the cabin. As you drive faster, there is more wind/road noise in the cabin, so the radio compensates. The level of compensation is adjustable via the SVC menu option. BTW, you won't really hear it adjusting up and down It's not nearly as obvoius as the GM's where you can literally hear it get louder or softer. I've only heard mine once when I had to stop for a light suddenly. I was doing about 70 and had to stop very quickly. That was the only time that the "gradual" adjustment couldn't keep up with my rapidly decreasing speed.
