APR Chip and Boost Controller???

Can anyone help! I don't know much about Audi's and specially Turbos. I have already APR Chip programmed into my car and still wanted to buy a Boost Controller.. Will the Boost Controller still work??

Not a good idea...

to buy the boost controller. Your chip is designed to work with the car as it is. Without a lot of knowledge of the turbo and how it functions in conjunction with the existing programming in your car, you are likely to get your car into trouble.

i run one with my 1+, (boost machine- basically a 2 stg. controller controlling amt. of boost and

onset and creep)works real well but def takes some fiddling to get it set just right...

as long as your not using the boost controller to ask for boost way outside of the boost parameters

your chip is programmed for your fine, if you do, you'll just go into limp mode at which point you'll know to turn down the boost on the controller, you'll want a boost gauge...

if your chip is programmed to peak under full load at 21 lbs., you wouldnt want to use the boost controller to ask for 25 lbs, but 21/22 lbs would be fine and the chip would adjust fuel/spark/timing etc.. appropriately...
