Default Audi A4 B6 2.0 Crankshaft Angle Sensor

Hi, I am after an OE number for a Crankshaft Angle/Position Sensor to suit an A4 B6 2.0 non turbo engine. Not having much luck finding info on the 2.0 non turbo engine. Thanks

Sounds like you and greydolphin are having the same issue.

Not many 2.0's on this forum, but would guess it is the same place as the 1.8. See link below.

lyleswk thanks for the info. It was exactly what I needed. I hope the video is as easy to put into practice as it seems! I have read some horror stories about changing the thing. Thanks again.

I did it on my 1.8t in about 10 minutes while it was in the body shop in front of the sort of amazed staff.

lyleswk, I spoke too soon. The 2.0 looks different. Has the inlet manifold sitting over the top of the oil filter. Peeking in from the front I cant see much. It seems hard to get a copy of a pic of this engine, seems to be a bit of an odd duck! I have ordered the new sensor, just have to figure out where it goes.

Got to thinking if maybe the your non turbo 2.0 is laid out similar to the North American B7 2.0T (assuming you have a gas / petrol engine). So, went searching and found the link below showing where it is on the 2.0T which is similar to the 1.8T. Maybe it will help.

I will have to get it up on the ramps and have a look. Its a manual so from what I have been reading the engines seem to have them in a different spot again. Will get it up and have look. Thanks for all the help so far. Fingers crossed it will work out.
