Hi all. I am from sunny South Africa and new to this forum. Glad to be a part of the world of Audi and VAG. My daily is a 2005 Audi A4 B6 2.0 (ALT motor) with roughly 150 000 km.

I am mechanically inclined but my electrical knowledge needs some work.

I know the warning/chime not working is not a major problem but I find it extremely annoying that it has stopped.

The chime does not trigger when the lights are left on, fuel warning, or any other warning indication, etc.

This all happened after I had the battery replaced recently and I noticed that the guy at battery centre left the car on when he swapped the battery out. Could this be the cause? (thinking that a power surge may have affected it)

How do I fix this? All help would be highly appreciated.
