Default Audi A4 B6 idle continually rising and falling

Good day everyone,, I've had my B6 for about eight months and I have been experiencing problems with the engine idling. It rises and falls while I'm driving. At low speeds the car acts like its trying to breathe., huffing and puffing, raiding itself but reduces if speed up. I've changed all the coils and plugs and I can't seem to detect a leak. Please I'd welcome any advice to resolve this
Thanks.
G.

If 1.8t, it is likely a vacuum leak. You will just have to poor over all the vacuum lines and see if you see something obvious.

Some information would be helpful, such as type of engine, mileage, and any modification that you may have done.
My guess is a dirty throttle body. Try some TB cleaner,

Fault codes would probably be a big help.
