Audi A4 Clutch issues

Hi guys I'm new here and looking for some advice. I recently brought a 53 plate A4 with 135 on the clock its a 1.8t Quattro. when I brought the car it had a miss fire which was down to a broken crank case breather hose.So that was repaired and all was good until the other night. I was driving home and the clutch pedal stuck to the floor. I tried to shift gears but the car lost all pull and stopped. I tried to start in gear but that had no effect either. I can get the car in first and 3 45 6 but not second could this be a gear box issue?

Called the AA and they said it was the slave cylinder I' ve replaced that today attempted to bleed the system but when I was under the car I noticed a huge amount of transmission oil dripping even with the bleed screw closed and is cant get any pressure back in the pedal.

any ideas?

could it be a broken hose somewhere ?

Definitely sounds like a leak somewhere. The clutch has to produce a decent amount of hydraulic pressure to release the clutch pressure plate. Try cleaning it up and tracing back along the whole line.

This has happened to me on a couple of motorcycles, but not on a car - good luck.

Are you sure you got the o-ring put back on the hose into the new slave cylinder? I've found they tend to stay in the old one. If you don't then it will drain the brake fluid reservoir in a few minutes.
