Audi a5 cooling fan running all the time and using fuel
2010 A5 sportback 2.0tfsi.
fan runs all the time even short journeys and with air con switched off. After engine switched off fan runs then goes low peed then finally turns off all after 5-6 mins. the temp gauge is spot on normal and heaters hot when requested. Is this likely to be a coolant temp sensor? Does it have just the one as the gauge reads fine? its as if the ecu thinks its running too hot but as i say the gauge reads perfect and heats up from cold as normal.
