Brake Poll: Would You Buy - (almost assume they are a gift)

1: Alcon

2: Brembo
<img src="http://www.purems.com/images/fullsize/BREMBOGTVWPASSAT_fs.jpg">

Both cost the same - or within $100 of each other -

or
3: Stoptech
<img src="http://shop.achtuning.com/ProductImages/stoptech-bbk-lores.jpg">

($500 cheaper)so really not a whole lot less expensive - but is either of the other 2 kits worth the extra $ (would the driver notice a diff)

All 3 of the kits are the same size rotors (13") and the same # of pistons per caliper (4)

From a performance stand point alone (not factoring price)- street and track - which kit would you rather have magically appear on your car - or is there another kit that fits a 17" rim that people would rather have

Thanks For your input

Tough call, because they're all good brands. Guess it depends on what you want

I personally would go with Stoptech.

Brembo w/ slotted rotors

RASTA4 07-31-2006 11:09 PM

all 3 choices will require new wheels (OEM USP wheels don't clear much)

Nate (ETKA+Scumbag) 07-31-2006 11:44 PM

Don't match or don't clear?
