BTW, are the 1.8T's steering wheel and shifters "real leather wrapped" like the 3.0

Audi has a policy of "if it says aluminium trim, then it should be aluminium"
If it looks leather wrapped, it probably is.
If they say leather rimmed wheel, it definitely is.
Our 2.0 has a leather trimmed wheel.

On the .pdf file I downloaded from audi-usa website, only the 3.0 with premium leather seat package comes with real leather, see for yourself at the following:
Genuine Buffalino full-leather seat upholstery; door inserts, front / rear center armrest, shift **** and steering wheel in matching leather.

Just because it says the 3.0 has those things doesn't mean the 1.8T has none of them. Read this:
(from Audiusa.com for the 1.8T specs and features)
