Burnt out LED in the LED Tail lights
One of my LED's in those KA LED taillamps has gone dim on me. Has anyone had to replace a led in those yet? How do you do it and what kind of LED do I need?
Thanks

Re: Burnt out LED in the LED Tail lights
you can take the four little rubber plugs out , unscrew the screws with a philips head and pop off the cap, then pull out the led that is burned out. It should be an easy led swap, just get the 99 cent ones on ebay.

You can switch them out as long as they are towards the center of the vehicle...
if they are on the ends then you have to solder them off the PCB.
The ones that are easily replaced are sitting in sockets like small Christmas tree lights.
I bought LED's from superbrightleds.com that matched perfectly.

I have a bag of LED's on my desk in front of me......figure out postage from Detroit
and tell me how many you need and I'll mail you some. Just add the price that they sell per piece.
Shoot me an email.
