Changed out the air and oil filter today...
Finally had some time to change out the oil today, it was 6,800miles when I did my last one...
Put in the larger oil filter 068-115-561-B (just like I did the last time), and Mobil 1 0W40. I have the fumoto oil pan drain valve installed previously, it makes the oil change so much easier, just open it up and let it drain...I did a much better job this time with the oil filter, having a ziplock bag wrapped around it fully as well as having loads of paper towels put in around the filter area, no drips on the suspension or ground this time round...
Also changed out the air filter 06C-133-843, needless to say the box was pretty dirty, loads of leaves etc in there, so I vacuumed them out and also shook out the pre filter which was fairly clogged...I wish that Audi had it easier to change out this air filter, but at least it was easier than my previous 1.8T B5 which had clips all around the box...
Gradually getting this car taken care of, did the brake fluids a few weeks ago...Next up will be the spark plugs. And in the longer term it will be time for the big one-timing belt-thermocouple-waterpump-tip fluid-coolant...
And I know that both me and the car is begging for a decent suspension setup, we'll she hows the funds are in the next few months for that...
