Default Check Engine Light - Code P1128 - "Bank1 Lean" - HELP

Recently I started getting this code - P1128 ,
Long term trim mult bank1 lean. Has anyone fixed this and know what it is. Apparently it could be oxygen sensor, vacuum, etc. I am afraid this could be a fortune in parts and labor to fix.....

Thanks ahead of time.

David

Default I had a similar thing

i had a similar thing. Firstly I assume 'check engine light' you mean the little red picture of the block - I don't know the codes but my car (A4 3.0)thought it was running lean.

The dealers / roadside guys checked:
The coil packs - changed lots of them.
Checked any and all sensors.
Loaded new software.
Checked the exhaust wasn't sucking clean air in through a leak or crack - therefore giving a false lean reading.
Finally mine was damaged fuels lines (previous owner incident) effecting the fuel pressure. the fuels lines are covered by long black plastic covers on the underside.

Good luck.
